Over the past 75 years the Wittern Group has
always focused on sizing the right piece of vending equipment to the
location. When your office space is compact, you need a vending solution that
meets the locations needs. We have been at the forefront when it came to
sizing the vending machine to the right size location.
Late
1960's -
Coffee vending machines were primarily a
secondary vending machine in a location. We realized that coffee sales
benefited pastry sales, so we designed a combination coffee & pastry
vending machine. This also provided a compact solution to the location.
1970's
-
The Wittern Group acquired U-Select-It, a well
known manufacturer of vending machines and also one of the founding members
of our National Automatic Merchandiser Association. These vending models
introduced a slimmer solution to the small business location.
1980's
-
As a vending machine manufacturer, we took a hard
look at our cost of vending equipment. One of the challenges we had to face
was cost justifying the merchandiser to the location. For the small office
location that had 35+ employees, we introduced our satellite series of
vending machines that utilized a snack machine controller board, coin
acceptor, and bill acceptor. This design made the vending machines cash flow
at small office environments.
1990's
-
The demographics of the workplace changed
dramatically from large offices with 150+ employees to 50+ employees. This
created opportunities for adding satellite vending equipment to help provide
a location with a full-line of vending service, where traditional vending
equipment could not cash flow due to the capital investment of the larger
vending machines.
Today
-
We manufacturer a large selection of small
vending machines, from the standard 72 inch case, to vending machines that go
on your counter. We provide a full selection of different models of small
vending machines that can meet any location. Today the majority of United States
work force is in work cells less than 35 employees.
