Frequently Asked Questions

Cost and Program Questions

What makes Vending.com's vending network different?

We partner with a qualified network of local vending operators who are committed to delivering high-quality, customized vending programs. This means you get personalized service, modern technology, and product selections that match your team’s preferences.

Local operators understand regional preferences and can quickly respond to service needs, ensuring better reliability and satisfaction.

With our full-service program, installation and ongoing service is entirely free to you. You won’t have to worry about set-up fees, charges or monthly bills.

Program terms vary by operator. Ask about commitment length when matched with your local contact.

Some operators offer commission on sales revenue. Ask your assigned operator whether commission terms are available for your location.

Qualification Questions

Does my location qualify for the full-service program?

Locations with at least 50 employees, or locations with enough foot traffic to support vending equipment and limited nearby food options, typically qualify. Contact us and we will give you a straight answer.

Smaller locations can finance or purchase a vending machine through Vending.com. We offer machines with a smaller footprint for lower-volume locations.

Equipment and Service Questions

Can product selections be customized?

Yes. One of the advantages of working with local operators is the ability to tailor product offerings to match your employees’ preferences.

Your machines are managed by a local vending operator who is responsible for restocking, maintenance, and customer service.

High-traffic areas like offices, manufacturing facilities, schools, and healthcare environments are ideal. For business owners, securing the right locations is a key factor in building a successful vending route.

We have a wide variety of machine sizes. Sizing information is available in the Specs table and brochure, found on each one of our product pages. We can also share exact dimensions if required for specific applications.

Options include snack machines, drink machines, frozen food machines, combo machines, coffee vending machines, micro-market setups, and AI smart coolers. Your local operator will recommend the best fit.

The Vending.com network has operators across the United States. Contact us with your location and we will confirm whether service is available in your area.

Vending machines, micro-markets, AI smart coolers, and office coffee service (OCS). Ask your local operator about availability in your area.

Modern Vending.com-network equipment accepts credit and debit cards and mobile payments including Apple Pay and Google Pay. Cash acceptance varies by machine type.

Smart Coolers

What products can be stocked in an AI smart cooler?

AI smart coolers can be stocked with snacks, fresh sandwiches, salads, wraps, yogurt, fruit, bottled beverages, energy drinks, protein snacks, and other refrigerated and non-refrigerated items. Product selections can be customized based on the needs of your location.

Vending machines dispense individual products after a purchase is made. AI smart coolers allow users to open the cooler, browse available items, and select multiple products in a single transaction for a more retail-like experience.

Micro-markets typically include open shelving, coolers, and a self-checkout kiosk, while AI smart coolers provide a more compact, self-contained solution. Both offer convenient access to food and beverages, but smart coolers are often a good fit for locations with limited space.

Yes. AI smart coolers are commonly used in office break rooms, manufacturing facilities, healthcare environments, and other workplaces where employees and visitors want convenient access to fresh food and beverages throughout the day.

Yes. Local operators can adjust product offerings based on employee preferences, purchasing trends, and demand to help keep inventory relevant and appealing.

AI smart coolers work well in offices, manufacturing facilities, hospitals, warehouses, apartment communities, hotels, universities, and other locations that want to offer fresh food and beverages on-site.

For many locations, AI smart coolers can supplement or reduce the need for traditional food service by providing convenient access to fresh meals, snacks, and drinks throughout the day.

AI smart coolers typically require less space than a micro-market, making them a practical solution for break rooms, common areas, and locations with limited floor space.

Yes. AI smart coolers support cashless transactions and accept credit cards, debit cards, and mobile payment options such as Apple Pay and Google Pay.
