Must be able to lift up to 50 – 75 lbs., physically able to stand for up to (8) hours, do bending, twisting, grasping, and have the ability to grip sheet metal, pick/pack or assemble parts. Must be punctual and have a good attendance record. Education: high school or equivalent.

Responsibilities will include: maintaining company grounds; handling debris; assisting with snow removal, landscaping (including weeding and fertilizer applications); assisting in the cleanliness and professional appearance of all common areas and amenities as needed. Maintenance standards include awareness of physical conditions of company related properties and applying corrective actions. Operation of lawn mower/landscaping and snow removal equipment as needed. This is a full-time, year round position.
Qualified candidates will have previous grounds keeping or landscaping experience. Must be mechanically inclined and able to work as part of a team and independently on projects. Demonstrated customer service skills and professionalism in working with all employees, vendors and guests. Position requires availability to work any shift as needed, including weekends and evenings, and report to work in emergency situations. Observation of all safety and sanitation rules when performing job duties is mandatory. Good written and verbal communication skills required. Must possess a valid and current driver’s license. Candidate will be able to multi-task in a fast paced environment and possess the ability to complete tasks on a timely basis and follow directions. In addition to grounds keeping, this position will work along with housekeeping, maintenance, mowing crew and farm staff as needed.

Manufacturing Supervisor –
The Wittern Group, a leading manufacturer of vending machines, has an immediate opening for a Manufacturing Supervisor in our Assembly department. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and tools, production control, computer systems applications and personnel management required. Prior experience in assembly line production preferred. This position is on first shift (7:30am – 4:00pm).
Qualified candidates must demonstrate effective mechanical aptitude and previous fabrication and mix model assembly line experience, along with prior experience managing a union workforce. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Bilingual (Spanish) communication skills preferred. Knowledgeable in MS Office programs. The Manufacturing Engineer (ME) will lead and drive continuous improvement programs utilizing Lean Six Sigma methodologies, manage labor standards, implement statistical process controls, provide leadership of key project teams working with multiple functional disciplines throughout the organization and lead daily problem solving teams to better meet customer needs.
The ME will champion development and maintenance of direct labor rate standards. The ME is also charged with enhancing the company’s position with respect to manpower, processes, equipment and tooling to keep our manufacturing techniques as current and efficient as possible to maintain our competitive position in the market.
This person is responsible for the planning, specifying, designing and implementation of manufacturing systems including manufacturing process flow planning. This person must be current with respect to engineering technologies in system integration and manufacturing systems engineering to assure that the company’s manufacturing systems produce quality products, remain cost competitive, and continually improve.
Manages projects from concept to completion including CAD designs, searching and locating suppliers, writing specifications, obtaining quotes, scheduling contractors, and managing project timelines and budgets.
Engineering works with minimal direction from the Plant Manager, who sets broad direction and goals.
Provides instructions and direction to tool and die makers, set-up technicians, and maintenance technicians in the course of projects.
Provides training and direction to junior engineers in the context of project teams and activities.
The position actively supports the new product development and launch process by providing manufacturability input, representing production needs and concerns, building prototypes and designing equipment.
The ME supports the plants and production personnel in their goals to improve safety, quality, delivery, and reduce costs and scrap.
POSITION QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, required.
Minimum 3 years total experience in progressively responsible positions in the field of specialty.
Minimum 2 years experience in a manufacturing environment dealing with manufacturing projects.
Proficient designing molded parts, sheet metal parts, and assemblies.
Minimum of four years’ experience with solid modeling CAD development tools.
Experience with Solid Works, preferred.
Extensive knowledge of various types of manufacturing equipment and the limitations.
Experience working with other engineers and designers to define constraints and requirements.
Experience in LEAN environment, a plus.
Proven analytical skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills are required Solid organizational abilities, attention to detail.
Proficient in the knowledge and use of MS Office (Word, Excel).
Robotic Set-up & Operator position
Set-up and operate robotic MIG weld cell and provide everyday maintenance of cell so the product can meet quality standards. Also required to perform other tasks, as assigned by his or her supervisor.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Obtain supplies, position work and follow verbal or written instructions
2. Set-up and operate robotic MIG weld cell
3. Provide maintenance of cell everyday
4. Weldment inspection
5. Operate MIG Weld when not operating robot
6. Required to wear PPE
7. Read blueprints and simple measuring devices
8. Complete tasks as directed with minimum supervision
9. Ensure work is done safely and meets quality standards
10. Provide a great level of attention to detail and focus on the given task
11. Reports problems with quality, processes, equipment and materials to supervisor
12. Perform other duties as directed that correspond to the overall function of this position
13. Keep work areas clean and organized and take proper care of all equipment and facilities
14. Desire to learn and work to the best of his/her abilities as well as dependable work ethic
15. Follow all company rules and policies
